About

Paper Aeroplanes is Sarah Howells and Richard Llewellyn.

2010 saw Paper Aeroplanes playlisted on BBC Radio 2 with their single Not as Old. They played a live session for the lovely Bob Harris and licensed their debut album, The Day We Ran into the Sea to New York label OK! Good Records.

All 3 of their singles were added to BBC Radio Wales’s main playlist and they’ve played numerous live sessions and interviews including one with the late Stuart Cable on Wales Music Day, March 1st 2010. Sarah’s sparse and emotive version of the Tom Jones classic The Green Green Grass of Home, during the session became a station favourite for replay.

2011 will bring a New 7 track album We Are Ghosts.

Home-made. Sparse. Acoustic. Personal.

A record about what goes on in our heads.
